Samyama is an Unique Institution for developing Indian Philosophy and culture.

Born to a well known Vedic scholor family Sri H.M.Basavarju alias Dr.SHMB Shastry s/o Vedanthi sri Mahalinga shastry and mother smt. Channabasamma a well known Ayurveda and Homeo physician and great Astrologer took his birth on 8/9/1931 in a village known as Hebbur Tumkur Dist.

He is well known for his creative activities founder of first Homeopathy medical college in Tumkur educated so many Allopathic doctors and nurses in homeopathy system, through a well known Hahnemann Homeopathy welfare society Tumkur, founder of Sri Siddalingeswara motor Driving school in tumkur, ST, John Ambulance Association in tumkur. He is well known to all the rural mass of Tumkur district. Born to a well known Vedic scholar family was very much fond of developing Indian Culture, propagating veda and Upanishad knowledge was a key person to open a Big Yoga Institution in Bangalore known as Samyama Institute of Yogic sciences and Research foundation. He was the founder of well known Samyama trust (R ) through he is more active to serve the society through various Health activities like conducting Health Camps, Yoga camps etc.,

At the age of 85 years still he is very active in his service. He is non other than Dr.SHMB Shastry Founder President.
